Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the project design vision alongside senior directors, carrying design intent through every phase — concept, DD, CD, and beyond.
Produce creative design solutions and precise construction detailing that actually survive contact with the real world.
Select and present building systems and materials to clients, translating programme goals into tangible spaces.
Coordinate with project managers and consultants to keep design, budget, schedule, and code all singing from the same hymn sheet.
Mentor and delegate within the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
Oversee design peer reviews and jurisdictional approvals, and champion sustainable design where the brief allows.
Contribute to firm-wide design culture through mentorship and office-wide design initiatives.
Skills & Experience
8–12 years of experience in commercial office or multifamily residential architecture.
Strong ability to organise, review, and quality-control design phases — with an eye for graphic excellence, constructability, and design intent.
Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, and SketchUp; 3D rendering skills are a bonus.
Solid grounding in building codes and zoning regulations.
Architectural licence preferred; LEED GA or AP is a welcome addition.
Superior communication skills — you can sell a concept in the room and document it precisely afterward.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred); valid US work permit required.
